James

James Carson

Managing Director

James went to Leeds Metropolitan and studied business information management, he worked at SBC Warburg, Arthur Andersen and then Delta Textiles London, until leaving in 2002 to go on to found Support Tree in early 2003, James Carson has over 18 years experience in IT. His interests include Rugby, Cycling, Travel and Property.
 

My Burning desire...........To grow Support Tree into a major player in the IT services industry

Something no one knows about me..........I decided what type of company Support Tree would be 10 years prior to its launch

Key to success...........Plan your day in advance and then always start with the hardest task.

Neil

Neil Denning

Director

Neil went to St Ignatius College studying politics and classical civilisation.
 

He then worked at Delta Textiles London before working for Vero Insurance in Auckland New Zealand.
In 2005 Neil returned from travelling and joined Support Tree to help it grow. He has over 13 years expereience in IT and is always looking for the next breaking innovation to improve Support Tree's service.

Neil's interests include running, cycling, snow boarding and pretty much any other sporting activity.

"My burning desire..... is to arrange my life so I can migrate for the British winters and still continue supporting our customers"

Something no one knows about me....I once looked after monkeys with mental health problems in the Bolivian jungle

Matthew

Matthew Collis

Team Leader

Matthew graduated from University College London with a BSc in mathematics and went on to complete an MSc in astrophysics. He joined support tree in early 2008 to build on his keen interest in business related IT. Matthew enjoys oil painting, cycling and travelling in his spare time.

My burning desire..... is to become highly successful in my career, raising a family in the countryside and making it as an artist.

Something no one knows about me.......I have exhibited one of my oil paintings in an international art exhibition in Beijing!

My key to success.... Trying and failing rather than failing to try, and having a lot of self belief.
 


 

Juan

Juan Canham

Support Technician

Juan studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Spanish A Levels achieving A grades in all.

Juan joined Support Tree in supporting end users on Windows and MAC OS X, working on both servers and desktops, remotely and on-site, giving 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support.

While mostly a Windows engineer, he is also responsible for supporting OS X systems because of their unix roots.

He is an Open source enthusiast, programming, unix, science fiction, video game development, physics.

My burning desire is to ... Spend less time fixing broken computers and more time improving working ones
Something no one knows about me...learn't how to fly planes when at school
My key to success...A keen enthusiasm for computers and computer science in both theory and practice
 

Wasim Parker

Support Technician

Wasim studied Psychology and Computing BSc at University and then went on to do an MSc in Research.


He worked at IT MOT, a small IT consultancy and support company before spending a year and half working within the National Health Service as an IT Support and Project Engineer.


Wasim joined Support Tree Mid-2011. He has over 2 years experience in IT Support and is always looking to increase his experience and knowledge within the IT world.


His interests include football, films and gaming

My burning desire.... is to travel round the world to places where I can test my extremes, i.e the polar caps, amazon rainforest etc


Something people dont know about me..... I was one of the Olympic Torch Bearers as it came through London in the 2004 Olympics


My Key to success...... work hard, play hard. Achieving success is not limited to the work place.
 

Selcuk Aydogan

Support Techncian

Selcuk has studied BSc (Hons) Information Systems at City University and graduated in 2009. During his university life he worked as a Freelance engineer; providing website design, computer maintenance, network setup and general support.


His previous job was with DigiBridge CIC as a Technical and Network Administrator. His role involved maintaining server, network infrastructure and providing technical support for clients. He has 1.5 years of experience in IT and has always been open to expand his knowledge and experience.


Selcuk's key interests are keeping active via participating in sports such as Muay Thai, Tennis and working out. He enjoys reading books about history and traveling to historic places. When the weather allows (not always because of rain) Selcuk delights in riding his motorcycle across country roads, feeling the breeze and breathing the clean air.
 

My burning desire.... is to be able to do a European followed by a World tour on a motorcycle, stopping at different countries and absorbing their culture. I would like to make a note of my travels and collecting a souvenir from each stop.


Something no one knows anout me.......No one really knows that I was once called Jesus at college because of my lush, silky long hear. Unfortunately that has long past and I have the signs of hair retreat.


My key to success.... always push myself beyond my comfort zone, if you practise something hard enough you generally will improve whatever your IQ.
