Situation: Fire in a client office building forcing them to move out losing all IT equipment

Support Tree had implemented a disaster recovery plan fpr Matros recruitment. The client decided to implement a documented planned approach and chose our ST-Online Remote service.


The client was again broken into by vandals who this time decided to start a fire in the office. The fire spread rapidly through out all of the offices destroying all of the IT equipment including servers, PCs, laptops, printers and network equipment.


Support Tree were informed of this at 0830. By 1230 Matros were working in office space found and setup by Support Tree with a temporary server collecting email, client PCs and phones and a fax.


This was possible because of Support Tree's industry leading support team and our extended network which includes close links with numerous business centres.


Matros were able to carry on trading without the loss of their critical to business recruitment databases with the most minimal of trading downtime.
